CCI Closes Pakistani Acquisition Deal

Turkish Coca-Cola bottler Coca-Cola Içecek (CCI) has announced it has signed an agreement to acquire a 48.993% stake in Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan (CCBPL) in a deal worth US$76.9mn. Under the terms of the agreement, CCI will make the payment in cash once the local legal procedures are finalized for the registration of the share transfer. Once this deal is complete, both CCI and the American Coca-Cola Company will each own equal shares in CCBPL.
