Carrefour To Introduce Hypermarket Retailing

French retail giant Carrefour and its Middle East franchise partner, Majid Al Futtaim Group (MAF) LLC Dubai UAE, are to construct Pakistan's first hypermarket. The Lahore outlet, to be run on a franchise basis by MAF, will be one of 10 stores the joint venture has planned for Pakistan over the next five years as it looks to lift what is currently a fairly moderate growth outlook for the country's mass grocery retail (MGR)
