Parmalat Loses Lawsuit Against Citigroup

Italy-based Parmalat has been dealt a blow after a US civil court ruled in favour of Citigroup in a case relating to the 2003 collapse of the dairy giant; Parmalat had been seeking up to US$2.2bn from the world's largest banking group but now faces paying US$364mn after the court decided in the banks favour.
