Starbucks Expects Another Tough Year

US-based coffee shop chain Starbucks has revealed that it expects sales at established outlets to decline in its fiscal year ending September 2009. The decline in comparable-store sales along with costs associated with its planned store closures is expected to lead to a reduction in 2009 earnings of about 12 cents per share which amounts to 17% of the firm's earning per share in fiscal year
