Almarai Makes Regional Acquisitions

Saudi Arabian dairy and fruit juice company Almarai has been making a series of regional acquisitions as it looks to increase its presence beyond its home market. The firm, which is the largest dairy company in the Gulf region by market value, has recently reached two acquisition agreements, one with Egyptian dairy and juice manufacturer International Company for Agricultural Industrialisation Projects (Beeaty) and another with Jordanian drinks firm Taibah's Investment and Advanced Food Co.
