Wal-Mart Expresses Interest In Peru

Peru's minister for Foreign Trade and Tourism, Mercedes Aráoz, has revealed that Wal-Mart has expressed an interest in opening stores in the country. The minister has disclosed that she met with Wal-Mart representatives at the Americas Competiveness Forum held in Atlanta and that the firm expressed an interest in investing the country's supermarket sector.
