Yakult Invests In Mexico

Japanese functional beverage manufacturer Yakult Honsha has announced the completion of a new plant in Mexico that will allow it to double production of its Sofuhl drinkable yoghurt product, launched in the country last September. The facility cost around YEN2.2bn (US$20.23mn) and has the capacity to produce 120,000 bottles of yoghurt per day.
