Jeema Acquires Aquafina Factory

Dubai-based bottled water company Jeema Mineral Water has acquired Acquafina's factory, in an aggressive move that is part of the company's strategy to expand capacity and expand its market share over the coming years. Acquafina, which has a relatively small share of the UAE's bottled water market, is distributed by Dubai Refreshment Company (DRC), a company that also distributes PepsiCo products. BMI believes the acquisition is an important step forward for Jeema and is likely to provide a strategic platform for the company to increase its market share.
