Cott Corp Posts Declining Revenues, Deepening Losses

Canadian soft drinks manufacturer Cott Corp has reported a net loss of US$124mn for 2008, from a loss of US$71.4mn in 2007. Over the year the firm's revenues declined by 7.3% and this pattern worsened as the year progressed with revenues in the fourth quarter down by 10.1% compared with the previous year. With sales declining and losses mounting it is hard to see how the company can orchestrate a turnaround.
