Nestlé Nigeria Set To Expand Capacity

Nestlé Nigeria, a subsidiary of the Switzerland-based food and drink giant, is close to beginning construction of a modern manufacturing facility in Ogun State. Despite BMI's forecast that Nigeria is headed for recession in 2009 with GDP expected to contract by 1.4%, we agree with the company's positive decision to press forward with its long-term strategy to expand capacity rather than err on the side of caution in what remains a largely unsaturated market.
