Bibita Acquires License From American Juice Maker

Kosovo-based soft drinks manufacturer Bibita has acquired a license from the American juice maker Tampico Beverages to manufacturer and distribute juices under its brand effective May 2009. While production will take place in Kosovo, the agreement will allow Bibita to distribute juices to Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. In BMI's opinion, the agreement is a positive step forward for both parties. Bibita's brand equity and growth outlook across the region should benefit considerably, while Tampico will make a rare foray into Emerging Europe.
