Beer Sector Hit By Swine Flu

Shares in Mexico's two largest brewers have been hit by the swine flu epidemic after the Mexican authorities ordered the closure of bars and clubs. Shares in the country's largest brewer Grupo Modelo fell by 9% on April 27 while shares in beer and soft drink producer Fomento Económico Mexicano (FEMSA) fell by over 10%.
