UAE Leads Bottled Water Industry

According to leading UAE-based bottled water firm Al Ain Mineral Water Company, the country's per capita bottled water consumption has reached 275 litres per annum, which is comfortably the highest consumption rate in the world. The UAE's industry is believer to be worth AED1bn (US$272.3mn) a year, which according to BMI's analysis, comprises close to 37% of total soft drinks sales.
