UK dairy co-operative Dairy Farmers of Britain (DBF) has gone into receivership after waning consumer demand and its competitors' superior ability to discount exacerbated existing underlying problems. Accounting for around 10% of the UK's fresh milk supplies and now unlikely to be able to pay its suppliers for the month of May, the collapse has sparked outrage among the dairy farming community and administrators will now look for a quick sale of the group's remaining assets to avoid further
