Super de Boer Posts Rising Sales Against Weak Economic Backdrop

Netherlands-based grocery retailer Super de Boer has reported a 5.1% year-on-year (y-o-y) rise in same-store sales for the second quarter of its financial year. The strong performance comes after a lacklustre first quarter, when sales rose by just 1.7%, and means that the firm's same-store sales rose by 3.7% for the first half of the year.
