Barry Callebaut Sales Growth Picks Up

Swiss business-to-business chocolate manufacturer Barry Callebaut has announced that in its fiscal third quarter, ending May 31, its sales volumes gained momentum, with growth of 8.8%. This compares to year-to-date growth of just 2.6%. Third quarter revenues increased by 10.3% in local currency terms and by 7.1% in Swiss francs. This compares with year-to-date growth of 6.3% in local currency terms and just 0.9% in Swiss Francs. Barry Callebaut has attributed the pick up in sales to a late Easter, restocking, the dynamic development of new markets and the implementation of new outsourcing
