Beer Sales Demonstrate Resilience In The Face Of Adversity

The results posted by Mexico's two largest brewers for the first half of 2009 indicate the impact of the economic recession and the H1N1 flu outbreak on beer sales in the country. Femsa Cerveza has reported a sharp contraction in volume sales but interestingly, Grupo Modelo managed to deliver volume growth.
