Operating close to 700 supermarkets and more than 250 franchised outlets, Shoprite is ideally positioned to capitalise on BMI's forecast that through to 2013, industry-wide supermarket store sales will increase by 37.9% and reach ZAR204.4bn (US$26.3bn).
