SOS Attempt To Move On From Share Scandal

The world's largest olive oil producer, Spain-based SOS Cuetara, has posted a net loss of EUR61.6mn for the six months through to the end of June, principally due to the impact of financial charges. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the period reached EUR54.3mn but the bottom line was hit by financial costs related to exchange rate hedge instruments and non-recurrent provisions linked to a share scandal earlier in the year.
