Success In US Helps Ebro Puleva Offset Difficulties At Home

Spanish food group Ebro Puleva has revealed that it expects earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) at its US division to increase by 26% this year on the back of rising sales and lower costs. Spain's largest food firm expects sales at the division to increase by 28% to reach EUR886mn and has said that this will be complemented by cost savings, including the replacement of two older rice factories with a new factory in Memphis.
