Serengeti To Launch US$40mn Plant In 2010 As Subplot Thickens

As Diageo-owned East African Breweries (EABL) and SABMiller continue to quarrel over the promising Tanzanian market (see 'Diageo And SABMiller In Clash Of The Titans' in our online service), Serengeti Breweries, the privately owned brewer at the centre of the dispute, has announced that it is investing US$40mn in a new brewing plant to be located in the Kilimanjaro region.
