Coca Cola Hellenic Targeting Baltic Growth

Emerging Europe-focused core Coca Cola bottler Coca Cola Hellenic (CCH) is thought to be planning a market share offensive across the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The world's second largest Coke bottler by sales revenue - US$10.2bn in 2008 - CCH is believed to have set a target of establishing itself as the region's largest soft drinks bottler by 2012. Over the near term, trading conditions are likely to remain challenging. The increasingly outward looking Baltic States economies found themselves severely exposed to the global financial crisis with double-digit economic contractions forecast in all three states in 2009.
