Kraft Under Pressure After Cadbury Reports Bumper Third Quarter
October 2009 | Company News AlertUK-based confectionery producer Cadbury has hailed its third quarter results as 'excellent' as it looks to make its case for independence and see off a takeover challenge from US food giant Kraft. For the three months to the end of September Cadbury delivered a 7% rise in sales on a constant currency basis while for the first nine months of the year operating margins increased by a whopping 180 basis points (on a constant currency basis). The firm claims to be on track to deliver sales growth in the middle of its 4-6% target range and now expects operating margins
