SABMiller Latin American Volumes Hit By Downturn And Competition

In the six months to September 30 volumes in both Colombia and Peru were down 2%, while volumes in Ecuador and Panama increased by 7% and 2%, respectively, and volumes in Honduras were flat. The mixed results can be attributed to the economic slowdown, which has led to lower discretionary spending.
