Kirin Schedules Factory Closures As Part Of Updated KV2015

Japanese brewing giant Kirin Holdings is to close two factories in northern Tokyo in 2010 as part of its aim of achieving a leaner more streamlined business. Kirin will shift production of the 180mn-litres brewed annually at the two sites to another of its nine remaining breweries in what is being viewed as early preparation for its possible merger with rival Suntory.
