OFT Gives Pub Tie Clean Bill Of Health

The UK's office of Fair Trading (OFT) has announced that it will not investigate the legal tie between the UK's tenanted pub companies and their tenants. The revelation follows a three month assessment of the system by the OFT following a complaint by the Campaign for Real Ale (Camra), who had suggested the system was unfair to tenants and resulted in higher prices for consumers.
