Greencore To Offload Bottled Water Unit, Mulls Bids For Malting Business

Irish food group Greencore has announced the sale of its bottled water division and said it is mulling over approaches for its malts business. Greencore will offload its bottled water division, which produces private label bottled water for the retail and the food service industries, to Highland Spring of the UK in a deal worth up to GBP17.5mn (US$29mn). Greencore also said it is exploring a number of unsolicited approaches for its malting operations.
