Brasil Foods In Rate Negotiation Deadlock With Container Lines

A number of international shipping lines have reportedly reached an impasse with Brazil's largest Chicken exporter, Brazil Foods over setting freight rates for 2010. The company, formed by the merger of two of the country's largest food producers in May 2009, has unrivalled dominance in Brazil's export market and accounts for about 50% of total chicken shipments.
