Lotte Moves Further Into Food

South Korean conglomerate Lotte Group is to expand its food processing footprint via the launch of some 50 new food products under the Chefood brand. Already present in confectionery, soft drinks and some more minor processed food sectors, the launch will intensify the group's rivalry with the likes of Nong Shim, CJ Cheiljedang Corp and Daesang Corp and improve Lotte's presence in some of the country's more dynamic processed food
