Nestlé Reopening To Benefit Dairy And Food Sectors

Following assurances from the government that it would not again interfere with the company's domestic operations, Reuters has reported that Swiss food giant Nestlé has recommenced operations in Zimbabwe. Nestlé reportedly ceased production in mid-December after coming into conflict with government officials over the termination of a milk sourcing arrangement with a farm owned by members of President Robert Mugabe's family.
