Bonduelle In Move for France Champignon

French vegetable group Bonduelle is in exclusive negotiations with private equity group Butler Capital Partners to acquire mushroom producer France Champignon. The firm is the leader in the European mushroom market with revenues of EUR212mn in 2008. With a workforce of 1,500, France Champignon produces 130,000 tonnes of mushrooms per year and operates across the canned, frozen, fresh, pasteurised and dried segments.
