Revolutionary Aldi Eyes New Zealand Presence

The retailer is reported to be seeking suitable sites in the country in a move that would put it into competition with the existing duopoly, NZ Foodstuffs and Woolworths-owned Progressive Grocers. However, having managed to build up a market share that BMI estimates at a significant 3% in the equally competitive Australian market, the battle is unlikely to phase Aldi, particularly given how well suited the discount
