United Spirits Eyes Global Number One Slot

Indian spirits major United Spirits (USL), part of wider beverage firm UB Group, has announced estimated volume sales for the 12 months of calendar 2009 of 100mn cases. The figure would see USL surpass France's Pernod Ricard as the world's second-largest spirits maker by volume and gain ground on long-standing global leader Diageo.
