Argentine Wine Exports Up In 2009

Figures from trade organisation Wines of Argentina suggest that exports of Argentine wine increased 4.0% by volume and 9.5% by value during 2009 despite many key export markets being in recession. According to the organisation, wine exports were worth US$584.5mn during the year compared to US$534mn in 2008. Exports to the US were up by 30% while exports to Canada grew by 37%.
