Halloren Posts Record Sales Following Delitzscher Acquisition

German chocolate producer Halloren Schokoladenfabrik has posted record sales for 2009 following the acquisition of Delitzscher Schokoladen in 2008. For the 12 months to the end of December Halloren's sales rose by 39.4% to EUR53.12mn, from EUR38.12mn a year earlier. The company indicated that this increase was primarily the result of the acquisition, but said that sales at the original Halloren business also 'met objectives'.
