Rexam Reports On Difficult 2009, 2010 Outlook Remains Uncertain
February 2010 | Company News AlertUK-based drinks can maker Rexam has said it is cautiously optimistic for 2010, following a difficult 2009. The company reported group sales for 2009 of GBP4.9bn, up by 5% on 2008 but down by 7% once currency effects and acquisitions/disposals are taken into account. Underlying pre-tax profits for the year came in 13% lower at GBP285mn, compared to GBP328mn a year earlier.
