Campari Sales And Profits Up
April 2010 | Company Finance AlertItalian spirits producer Campari has reported an increase in profits and revenues for 2009 on the back of acquisitions, but registered a slight fall in like-for-like sales due to decreased decmand during the global economic downturn. In the 12 months ending in December 2009, Campari's net sales increased by 7% on the back of several acquisitions, including whiskey brand Wild Turkey. However, organic sales fell by 1%, with growth in Europe and Italy unable to offset a sharp decline in the Americas and through duty-free channels.
