Embotelladora Andina Announces Brazil Focus For Investment

Chilean drinks firm Embotelladora Andina plans to invest US$170mn during 2010. The firm, which has a franchise to bottle Coca-Cola products, said it will spend US$70mn on building a new bottling and production plant and the remainder will be split by country, with US$50mn earmarked for Brazil, US$20mn for Argentina and U$30mn for Chile. This emphasis on Brazil is in line with our strong forecasts for the country, with the local soft drink market expected to be one of the region's strongest performers during and after the global economic
