Unilever MENA Outlook Looks Strong

Having consistently posted double-digit annual sales growth in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) over the last few years (including 2009), Unilever is well positioned to grow its estimated US$1.4bn annual turnover considerably over the long term. It estimates the size of the MENA region's fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) market in the categories in which it operates to be US$3.9bn, which, taken with its estimated sales, would give Unilever more than 35% of MENA's FMCG market.
