In what is poised to be one of emerging Europe's biggest food and drink deals of the past months, the Croatian functional food and drink producer Atlantic Grupa has reached an agreement to acquire the Slovenian food company Droga Kolinska for EUR382mn. The deal should significantly strengthen Atlantic's competitive position in the Balkans and make it one of the region's largest food and drink firms by annual sales.
