CCU Results Highlight Underlying Strength Of Chile Over Argentina

Chilean beverage firm Compañía Cervecerías Unidas (CCU) has reported rising volumes for the first half of 2010 and a notable pickup in demand in the second quarter. Over the six months to the end of June the company's total volumes were up by 6.1%, while volumes in the final three months of the half were up by 9.7%.
