Africa Continues To Outperform As SABMiller Q1 Volumes Dip

Pulled down by very weak volumes in emerging Europe (down 9% year-on-year (y-o-y), SABMiller's Q110 (three months to June 30 2010) organic volumes dipped 1% y-o-y. Africa (excluding South Africa) continued to outperform as volumes grew 7% y-o-y. We believe that the divergence between Africa and European organic volumes in particular will continue playing out over the H210 (calendar) period.
