Private Label Growth To Continue Putting Pressure On Branded Producers

Nielsen reports that sales of private labels grew by 5.6% during the month, while branded products recorded a drop of 3%. The market share for private labels in Spain was already growing before the economic downturn, but a rapid drop in consumer confidence has greatly expedited this trend.
