BMI Sees US Challenge For New Tesco Head
September 2010 | Company News AlertThe incoming CEO of UK-based retail giant Tesco has refused to give unequivocal support to the company's fledgling US operations. Philip Clark, who will take over as CEO from Sir Terry Leahy in March 2011 said in an interview that he was 'not going to be drawn on what will happen' to the Fresh & Easy unit when he is chief executive and that he wanted the chance 'to go and look' at the business. The revelation comes at the same time a former Tesco executive revealed that the company's original plan was to establish a network of 10,000 convenience
