Subdued Domestic Outlook Points To Overseas Expansion

With little chance of respite for the Japanese beer industry in the near to medium term, it is unsurprising that Japanese brewing giant Asahi has announced the closure of its brewery in Nishinomiya city. Instead, the company will consolidate its Nishinomiya operations with its Suita brewery in a bid to improve efficiency across its domestic brewing operations.
