Katjes Fassin Building European Presence In Sugar Confectionery

Germany's third-largest sugar confectionery manufacturer Katjes Fassin has announced that it has become the majority shareholder in French group Lamy Lutti. In 2009 Katjes Fassin built a 33.3% stake in the business and has now increased its shareholding to 66.6%. The move comes eighteen months after the two businesses agreed to form an international strategic alliance and should lead to a much closer integration between the two businesses.
