CCE Could Use German Acquisition To Rebuild Scale Before Global Assault
November 2010 | Company News AlertCoca-Cola Enterprises, the anchor bottler for Coca-Cola products in Western Europe has said that it is interested in making regional acquisitions following the sale of its North American business to The Coca-Cola Company. The US$15bn deal allowed CCE to exit the tricky North American market and also gave the firm control of TCCC?s bottling business in Norway and Sweden. The deal also allows CCE to buy TCCC?s 83% stake in its German bottling operations ?at fair value? and it is here that CCE is likely to turn its attentions.
