Growth In US Beer Sector Possible In 2011

The third quarter results posted by beer importer Crown Imports, owned jointly by Mexican brewer Grupo Modelo and wine giant Constellation Brands, have pointed to a possible improvement in the beleaguered US beer sector. Boosted by restocking following supply chain difficulties during the summer, Crown posted a 22% rise in net sales and a 27% increase in operating income for the three months to the end of November.
