Retail To Continue Booming
February 2011 | Industry Trend AnalysisFood retailing is big business in Poland, where the majority of people still shop at independent stores. On the face of it, Poland seems be strangely under retailed, with informal stores still believed to account for about 60% of sales. The fact that structurally, Poland is less urbanised than much of the surrounding Central Europe region is largely behind this in our opinion.
