BMI Sees Merit In CCE Expanding Into Germany
February 2011 | Company News AlertCoke bottler Coca-Cola Enterprises has reported an increase in sales and earnings during 2010 despite a difficult operating environment. The US-listed firm, predominantly focused on Europe following the sale of its North American operations to The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC), registered a 3% increase in sales to US$6.71bn, while earnings climbed by 8.3% to US$624mn. The strong earnings will place pressure on the firm to outline how it will put its strong balance sheet to work (a result of the sale of its North American business). A move for TCCC's German bottling operations has long been touted as a possible route
